Vijayawada, November 18, 2021: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President and opposition leader in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, N Chandrababu Naidu, on Thursday, November 18, went on foot to attend Thursday’s session of the House to protest against the anti-people policies and rising prices under the Jaganmohan Reddy government.
Naidu led TDP MLAs and MLCs in the foot march taken out to the House. The TDP members held placards and raised slogans criticising the YSRCP regime for “not providing any relief to the common man from the abnormal price rise”.
The TDP chief demanded that the AP Government should stop pursuing its adamant stand and start reducing the prices of petrol and diesel. “The high fuel costs have resulted in rising prices of essential commodities. The chief minister should roll back the decision on collecting tax on garbage,” Naidu said.
Chandrababu Naidu said that the common man was suffering and leading a miserable life under the Jagan Reddy government’s rule. The state government is responsible for the highest rates of fuel in the country, he said.
TDP MLAs K Atchannaidu, Nimmala Ramanaidu, Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary and others took part in the foot march. They held placards alleging the YSR Congress Party government’s failures in welfare, maintenance of roads, remunerative prices on crops for farmers and so on. The TDP legislators lambasted the ruling party for its policy on the merger of aided educational institutions.
The TDP members raised slogans against the ‘drugs and mining’ mafia and held the Jaganmohan Reddy regime solely responsible for the destruction going on in the state according to the reports published in indiatoday.in.
Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu and his party legislators garlanded the statue of NTR at Venkatapalem. The party cadres raised slogans against the ‘chaotic and anarchic policies’ of the ruling YSRCP.
