Vijayawada, February 18, 2022: After Karnataka, some students of Andhra Loyola College on Thursday were denied entry into the premises of the college for wearing hijab.
However, the students said that they have been going to college in a burqa or hijab since the first year. The students also took a photo with the burqa for the college ID card.

The controversy erupted when Father Kishore, principal of the degree college, found a few Muslim girls wearing hijab and burqa and deliberately obstructed the students according to the reports published in timesofindia.indiatimes.com.

The issue was resolved after the talks were held. Subsequently, the college management allowed the students into the classroom.
