Tirupati, February 21, 2022: Chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated the Pushpagiri Vitreo Retina Institute near Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Kadapa on Sunday.
The chief minister inspected the operation theatre, a 150-bed block and other departments at the hospital. Jagan appreciated the institute’s founder-chairman and managing director R Govind Hari for coming forward to establish a state-of-the-art eye care hospital in his home district. He asked the hospital management to render best services to the people of Kadapa district according to the reports published in timesofindia.indiatimes.com.
Govind Hari was appointed by the state government as president of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams local advisory committee in Hyderabad and also as a special invitee to the TTD trust board in 2019.
The chief minister later attended the wedding of deputy chief minister SB Amzath Basha’s daughter.
