Vijayawada, March 27, 2022: Andhra Pradesh ranked ninth among states, with a score of 50.39 in the NITI Aayog’s Export Preparedness Index – 2021 (EPI) issued on Friday. Andhra Pradesh was rated second to Gujarat, which lead the chart in the ‘Export Performance Pillar.’ Andhra Pradesh was ranked fifth among the coastal states. A.P. was ranked 10th in the ‘Export Ecosystem Pillar.’ According to the NITI Aayog, A.P.’s business environment score had grown dramatically from 35.58 to 50.39.
Finance and Industries & Commerce Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy expressed satisfaction with the state’s performance and praised the Industries Department for working hard to make the state a leader in exports.
