Vijayawada, November 15, 2025: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu exuded confidence that Andhra Pradesh (AP) would become a $2.40 trillion economy by 2047 with the per capita income reaching $42,000 in alignment with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat. “With a huge young population, and multiple other advantages, India is poised to emerge as an unstoppable force”, he asserted.
Addressing the valedictory session of the CII Partnership Summit – 2025 here on Saturday, Mr. Naidu said the event was not merely a business affair but turned out to be a cultural exchange and a forum where diverse ideas and social issues were discussed with a vision for the future. He noted that the Summit was enriched by the participation of 30 Ministers from different countries and it had 700 B2B sessions and several MoUs inked.
Todd McClay, Minister for Trade and Investment, Agriculture and Forestry and Associate Minister for Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, said that his government was working closely with the Government of India on a highly effective Free Trade Agreement and exploring ways to navigate the current global trade challenges.
Australia – India CEO Forum Director Jodi McKay appreciated the Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) and CII for successfully organising the Partnership Summit, and said that the energy demonstrated by the State in moving forward economically has been inspiring.
Rodney Riviere, Cluster Coordinator-Private Sector Development – Skilling and TVET GIZ, Germany mentioned that GIZ partnered with A.P. in advancing renewable energy and would continue to deepen this collaboration according to the reports published in thehindu.com.
Edith N. Nordmann, Managing Partner of ACG International and Chairman, Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce and Trade (NICCT) highlighted that A.P. was positioning itself in the forefront of India’s next phase of industrial and technological growth.
