YSRCP more than doubles its victory margin when compared to 2019. The party won the seat with a margin of 44,734 votes in 2019 and with over 90,000 votes, as per the results declared today.

Hyderabad, November 02, 2021: People of Andhra Pradesh are with CM Jagan Reddy and Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), this proves that the hollow attempts made by the opposition to defame our CM have yielded no results and the people have rewarded us for our governance and our CM’s vision, said Gandikota Srikanth Reddy, Chief Whip, Andhra Pradesh government according to the reports published in timesnownews.com.

The ruling YSRCP, under the leadership of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has decimated the opposition in the Badvel assembly by-election by securing the seat with a margin of over 90,000 votes. As of 03:00 pm, a total of 1,12,211 votes were declared to be in favour of the YSRCP candidate, while the BJP stood second with 21,678 votes.

Speaking about the same, the Andhra Pradesh government’s chief whip, Gandikota Srikanth Reddy said, “We all know that the TDP and Jana Sena extended unconditional support to the BJP, in their attempt to defame the CM and out party. Despite all the propaganda and fake news peddled by them, the people of Andhra Pradesh more than doubled our victory margin in Badvel, when compared to 2019. This shows that the people are with the CM and our party and back our vision for the state. The welfare initiatives undertaken by the Government and the promises kept by the CM have won the hearts of the people. It is high time, the BJP realises that keeping promises is what wins hearts and considers giving AP its due share as per the AP reorganisation act. We thank the people for trusting us and giving us this historic victory.”
