Visakhapatnam Google data centre a testament to Naidu-Lokesh leadership, says TDP MLC

New Delhi, October 13, 2025: MLC Perabathula Rajasekhar said the establishment of the Google data centre in Visakhapatnam, along with the commitment of substantial investments by a range of multinational companies across diverse sectors in Andhra Pradesh, was a testament to the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh. The coalition government was striving to create 20 lakh jobs, and the results of its efforts were already visible, he observed.

The Google data centre, being set up with an investment of ₹87,500 crore, was a major achievement. More investments were in the pipeline, reflecting the trust entrepreneurs placed in Mr. Naidu, he noted.

Mr. Rajasekhar also pointed out that Mr. Lokesh had launched the Skill Census in his constituency, Mangalagiri, to enhance the skills of youth across the State and provide them with employment opportunities. In contrast, youth were forced to migrate to other cities in search of jobs during the YSRCP rule. In just 16 months of the TDP-Jana Sena Party-BJP alliance coming to power, about six lakh jobs had been created, he added.
